Are your products nut-free, gluten-free, or vegan?
We are not a nut-free facility. Some flavours contain nuts and cross-contamination is possible. We do not currently offer gluten-free or vegan options. -
Can I change flavours each month?
Yes. Update flavours before your next box ships — just message us or adjust your choices in your account. -
Can I change the shipping address mid-subscription?

Can I choose different flavours for my box?
Yes. You pick flavours on the product page when building your subscription. You can mix butter tart and cookie flavours. -
Can I gift a subscription to someone in another province?
Absolutely. Enter the recipient’s name and shipping address at checkout and add a gift note. -
Yes. You can pause or skip upcoming months from your [account dashboard](https://carlacookiebox.com/my-account/). Do this before your box is processed.

Can I pick up instead of shipping?
Yes. Choose Local Pickup at checkout and select your preferred date and time. -
Can I split the box across different flavours?
Definitely. Mix and match flavours in the same month when you build your box. -
Can I upgrade my subscription box size later?
Upgrades aren’t available on prepaid plans because we don’t keep your card on file. If you want more treats, place an additional order on our site. -
Do flavours change seasonally?
Yes. We rotate seasonal favourites like Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Bun, Apple Pie, and Raspberry White Chocolate alongside year-round classics. -
Yes. Butter tarts and cookies freeze beautifully. Store airtight and thaw at room temperature before enjoying.

Ontario: typically 1–3 business days. Other Canadian provinces: 3–7 business days. USA: 3–7 business days. Weather, holidays, and courier delays can impact these estimates.

Is there gift packaging for subscriptions?
Gift box packaging is available for butter tarts only due to event volume. All boxes are packed to arrive fresh, and you can add a personal message on the product page. -
Is the subscription prepaid or recurring?
Prepaid. Choose 3, 6, or 12 months and pay once up front. No surprise charges or auto-renewals. -
What is the Personal Dessert Subscription?
It’s a prepaid subscription that delivers a curated box of our handmade Canadian desserts to your door on a schedule you choose. Every box features full-sized treats baked fresh in our Vaughan (Toronto) bakery. -
What plan lengths do you offer?
3, 6, or 12 months. Pick the term that fits your budget and sweet tooth. -

When do you ship subscription boxes?
We ship fresh from Ontario every Wednesday and Friday. You choose the shipping date at checkout for each box. -

Yes. A tracking email is sent when your shipping label is created. The date you selected is the ship-out date, not the delivery date.
